My Story
Drew Phillips is a writer, director, and producer, and the founder of Badland Studios—a production banner dedicated to genre-bending, visually arresting, and wildly entertaining storytelling. His work spans narrative film, television, and branded content, with a focus on emotionally grounded stories told through a bold, stylized lens.

Drew’s latest short film, Mirror/Mirror, premiered to a sold-out audience at the TCL Chinese Theatre as part of Dances With Films, an Oscar-qualifying festival in Los Angeles. Serving as a proof of concept for his feature directorial debut, the film blends supernatural horror with psychological depth.

As a producer, Drew has overseen projects from development through post, with a focus on genre filmmaking that balances creative ambition with budget-conscious execution. He has worked on major television productions such as FBI, Law & Order, and Mayor of Kingstown, and has collaborated with leading brands including Paramount+, Peacock, E! News, Illumination Entertainment, and Netflix.

Currently, Drew is developing Mirror/Mirror into a feature-length film while building a slate of character-driven genre stories that challenge convention and keep audiences on the edge of their seats.
